• Car Driving Courses

  Graduated Licensing Program This is a certified I.C.B.C. program. This includes 20 hours of theory (in classroom training) and 12 hours of in car training, we also supply the car for their road test. Completion of this program gives the student two grade 11 credits towards their graduation and 6 months off their 24 months of “N” period. Please remember the student must be violation free for the first 18 months of their “N” period or they loose this privilege. 20 hours of theory We have broken our theory sessions into four – five hour sessions. (Module # 1, # 2, # 3, and # 4.) We do our theory sessions on Sunday evenings, usually once a month. The sessions are at St. John’s Ambulance on Dogwood, starting at 4 pm and finishing promptly at 9pm. We have a dinner break about 5:30, and then a short stretch break about 7:30. Each student must complete all four different modules; they don’t have to be done in number order, but must be completed before the student goes for their road test if they wish to receive the two grade 11 credits towards their graduation and the 6 months off their “N” period. 12 hours of in car training Our in car training sessions are done with only one student in the car. There is 9, one hour sessions, and two, 1 ½ driving sessions. These sessions include a highway drive to Courtenay on the Inland Hwy, merging onto and existing off the highway, and coming back to Campbell River via the old Island Hwy. The second 1 ½ session is usually a standard lesson. (If we feel the student would be able to pass the road test on an automatic vehicle) Class 7 individual driving lessons We will teach the student the defensive driving procedures to drive safely, and all the parking manoeuvres that are required to pass the class 7 “N” test. The lesson is one hour long, with only one student in the vehicle with the instructor. The lesson must be done in our vehicle.

  Class 5 individual driving lessons – previous student This is a discounted price for students who have previously taken lessons with Care -4- U Driving School. During this hour lesson we review all of the defensive driving procedures previously learned, making sure the student hasn’t picked up any bad habits. The lesson is one hour long, with only one student in the vehicle with the instructor. The lesson must be done in our vehicle. Class 5 individual driving lessons- non previous student During this hour lesson we make sure the student is doing all of the defensive driving procedures required to drive safely and to pass the class 5 road test. We make sure the student hasn’t picked up any bad habits. The lesson is one hour long, with only one student in the vehicle with the instructor. The lesson must be done in our vehicle.
• Motorcycle Courses

  Motorcycle Riding Lessons M.S.T. ready An instructor will work with you to help you acquire the skills to pass the motorcycle skills test. You can use your own bike or ours. Beginner’s program Our beginner’s rider education program is designed for the individual with little or no experience on a motorcycle. Students learn about operating a motorcycle safely which saves lives. The lessons we teach can be the most valuable information that you have ever learned. You can use your own bike or ours. For the experience rider Evaluation and training for riders who have not taken our beginners program course and are ready to take their I.C.B.C. road test. An instructor will assess the rider's skills and offer feedback, as well as valuable tips. You can use your own bike or ours.
