    The intructors are all perverts!! You get a couple intructors and one middle aged middle eastern (ugly) man, started asking me if i have a bf. Then he got into a conversation about girls being flowers and to remain pure.
    My second intructor was a big black guy that happened to be driving (alone) in the “practice” car and was stopped at a red light. He saw me waiting at the corner, walking to work, which was right accross the street. He kept asking me if i want a ride, but i refused telling him its right accross the street. Then he asked me if I need a ride home after work. I refused him again and told him my mom is coming to get me. He then said “oh you can call her and tell her not to worry about it, i can take you home.” Why the F**** would he go out of his way to pick me up from work to drive me home???? I refused again, and he asked me about 5 more times. I called my older sister and the pedestrian light came on and I ran accross the street. My sister  called the school and had to leave several messages informing them of the inappropriate, forward, behaviour of the intructor. She is yet to get an answer, or an apology from the company….. DONT GO THERE!! THEY ARE EXPENSIVE, USELESS PERVERTED TRAINERS!!!!

    Hello HP, I am replying on behalf of Derek Brown’s
    Academy of Driving. We were just made aware of this comment that you posted 7
    months ago I would like to start will your concerns. There were no calls from
    you of anyone with this complaint if there was a message we would have called
    you back and would have checked in to this matter, and would have terminated
    any instructor for this behavior. But there were no calls. You referred to
    these instructors in a raciest way our instructors are professional and mature
    people the gentlemen that you referred to is a teacher, he is a father, grandfather.
    We have never had a complaint about his conduct. Our instructors all have
    criminal checks ever renewal year. He is a very nice person and there must have
    been a misunderstanding. I would like to invite you to call me and I
    will personally check in to your concerns. Maintaining our schools reputation
    and image is of utmost importance to us. Customer satisfaction is of high
    priority to our business.

    Hi my name is Sarah, I went to Derek Brown’s in July 2011
    and I must say I had the best experience, got my licence and learned to drive
    and feel very confident now. My instructor (JC) was the man you are referring
    to and I find the comments you made to be very rude to call people by their
    race or color in this day and age to be appalling. Your story doesn’t make sense;
    the lights in Calgary don’t stay red for that amount of time. I must say I was
    very happy with DB’s and have had a lot of my friend go there and there pricing
    was very good.

    Highly recommend Derrick Brown Driving School. Sue listened and then recommended a package we wanted. Great customer service. We did brush up and then went for road test and passed.
