I signed my daughter up with Excel in July.  She had her in-class instructions for two full weekends.  After not hearing anything from Excel regarding her in-car lessons, I called them at the end of August to be told that my daughter was at the top of the pile and should be called within a week.  Didn’t hear anything by the end of October so I called them again, this time to be put on hold for 11 minutes while she tried to find my daughter’s file. When I hung up and called back I was told that she totally forgot that I was on the phone!  Great customer service!  This time she told me that she found my daughter’s file, unfortunately it must have gotten shuffled around and forgotten about.  Nice!  We’ll see  how long it takes now until we hear back about her in-car lessons but I can tell you that at the moment I’m not too impressed with Excel!

If I don’t hear anything soon, I will be requesting a full refund and complaining to the Ministry of Transportation.

I have just about had it with Excel.  My son took the in class program in July 2011.. it is now Feb 2012 and he still has not been able to complete his 10 hours of in car lessons!!  He has been through two driving instructors… now with just 3 hours left in car he has to begin again with another new instructor.  And Excel doesn’t even have the courtesy to call and let us know the instructors are no longer with the company… we have to learn this from trying to contact the instructors only to find out they no longer work there!  I left a message two days ago at the office to see when they would be contacting me to arrange for the lessons and as usual my calls are NOT returned..terrible customer service. If I don’t hear anything very soon, I would like a full refund and wish to report Excel to the Ministry of Transportation also and the Better Business Bureau!!  Not Impressed with Excel and I would not recommend them to anyone!!
