  Gearing’s School of Driving Inc. was established in 1995 with the aim to provide an affordable Driver Education program of excellent quality. We have met this goal and continue to strive for excellence in our profession. Our central focus is to teach students the defensive driving skills they need not only to pass a road test but more importantly to prepare them as safe drivers who are able to protect themselves on the road despite the actions of others. Vehicle collisions are the number 1 cause of death of young people between the ages of 16 and 24. We teach our new drivers in the class and behind the wheel on how to identify and avoid hazards before they become dangerous. These collision avoidance skills will keep them safe for a lifetime. At the age of 16 most teenagers cant wait to get behind the wheel and drive independently or with friends. After all it is a new found freedom. However for parents it isn’t an exciting time, they are concerned and hesitantly accept that their teenager is actually ready to drive and ready for this new responsibility. With a comprehensive in-class curriculum and safety orientated in car training we At Gearing’s School of Driving know that with our experienced professional instructors our students can and will learn with confidence that the responsibility is theirs through positive attitudes and skill to share alike in today’s highway traffic system and everyone can drive in harmony.
