This driver education company was HORRIBLE. Service for doing in car training was horrible, we had to get additional lessons for my son as the instructor barely taught him anything, would pick him up late and drop him off early, and then in the end we went to get the paperwork from the ministry to show our insurance company that he had done driver training, AND IT WASN'T THERE. They had not yet provided it, so we had to pay $12 (non-refundable) to find this out.

Seriously, avoid using this company. Up the point of us paying them their service was GREAT, once we paid to take lessons with them it was horrible… despite even talking to them about how poor the service was, it never improved.

BEWARE OF PETERS DRIVING ACADEMY, THEY DO NOT PROVIDE THE SERVICE THAT YOU PAY FOR. No one could understand the first instructor that they sent. The second instructor hardly showed up as scheduled. We later found out that the instructor had quit. The school never notified us of this. The 3rd instructor that they sent called (not the phone number he was given) one and a half hours before the lesson to cancel. If we waited for Peter's Driving Academy to follow through on their commitment it would take my son 5 years to complete his in car lesson. We had to go somewhere else. I spoke to Peter and tried to get him to fix the problem. After only a few words he swore at me, and told me to sue him. DISGUSTING WAY TO TREAT ANYONE!!!! I AM AMAZED WITH THIS ATTITUDE HE IS STILL IN BUSINESS. HE SHOULDN'T BE.

I highly recommend looking for another driving school. The in-class lessons were horrible, could hardly pay attention and not to mention the inappropriate jokes that the instructor made every two seconds because he thought it was funny. My in-car lessons were even worse…my driving instructor hardly taught me anything, she basically controlled the car, always pressed the brake before I did, did not build confidence in me AT ALL (actually she probably worsened it) and now I'm stuck paying for more in-car lessons at a different driving school because this one sucked.

The first thing Peter said to me was: “You,Sexy Mama!” and pointed right
at me. Calling me “sexy mama” is not professional. Not only did he call
me this, but also called other girls things such as: sexy, my
girlfriend, and love. One time he even prompted to put his knee up on a
girls desk while standing while he was teaching. This is not the type of
behavior a driving instructor should have.
    He didn’t so much “teach”
us, but yelled at us. I did not feel like I was learning. He barked at
the class the whole day long. He continued to talk about how he felt
“sorry” for the class because we didn’t know an answer. He called us
    “stupid”.
The pace of the class is very slow and we fell behind
fast. This is because Peter insists on telling us stories about past
students whom have died on the road. He then tells us about how amazing
    his children are.
The state of the classroom is a complete mess. It
looks very “sketchy”. The desks are very small and all bunched together.
There are pieces of carpet missing from the floor and the paint is
chipping off the walls. He brags about how he lives in one of the
biggest houses in Scarborough yet he can’t seem to upgrade his
    classrooms.
However, the in car sessions are great. My instructor is
very patient and informative. My very first in car session was in the
snow and that was no problem at all. I am very impressed with the in car
    session.
So overall, you get what you pay for.

Okay, so I took the inclass lesson in Whitby and my teacher was Sultan. He was EXTREEMLY rude and called himself the “king of love”. Innapropriate. What really got me was his use of the word “faggot”. I was extreemly offended that he would use a word like that in a learning enviroment with ignorant teens likley to pick up that kind of language.I wote a well articulated letter saying how disgusted I was but it is very likley they could rip it up and not care. Then, in my driving lessons I had Muhammud. He continually yelled at me throughout the lessoins so my nerves were always at a high when I was in the car. Finally, right before the test, he made me pay and extra 50$ to use the car and have a lesson! It all came to 110$. Than during that lesson he decided that was no longer going to be “nice” and he keept yelling at me how I was going to fail. I was litterly in tears and hyperventalating after my test. Not good. So please NOT GO TO PETERS DRIVING SCHOOL!

The thing I liked the most about this course was that our teacher played videos in which showed us the reality of faulty driving and the consequences of bad decisions which results into accidents. I really like the instructor because he is very humourous and made it more interesting and fun to learn. Despite know the basics from the being the passenger in my parent’s car, I learned a lot of material that I didn’t know. For an example, know the procedure after a collision, driving in different conditions and the improtance of knowing the rule and regulations. Overall I very much enjoyed this course
