Randy’s Driving School

Randy's Driving School may be a bit cheaper than other schools in Calgary, but the service is terrible. It is a one man operation and he has no front desk staff. He takes the role of a secretary and an instructor and as a result it is almost impossible to reach him. If you have an appointment with him he is usually not available or you have to wait for 45 minutes before you can see him. The only time you can see someone at the fronts desk is when you pay your bill. Worst of all, he can never make promises. If you have a lot of time to burn and a lot of patience, maybe it's worth the savings.

In my opinion, it's definitely not worth it. You may want to rethink spending your hard earned money here and find someone with better service.

Randy is a very skilled instructor, because the operation is small he was able to tailor the lessons to my skill level and allow time for the issues that needed work and not spend time on skills already polished. Not sure what Anon is referring to regarding impossible to reach, he always answered the cell when I was setting up the next lesson. Definitely worth the money saved from another school that wanted to run me through the entire 30 hours and full price for Class 1 and air brake upgrade.

Randy's Driving School is the one of the worst places you can choose to go. When registering, they promised they'd provide pick-up/drop-off and they never did that. They scheduled my in-car lessons all together in consecutive days from Monday to Friday right after in-class lessons, it never happened. I took first in-car lesson, then the second wasn't the next day, but the next week. Because Randy had some personal work to do and couldn't make his appointments. He was bold enough to tell that he did some personal work at my appointment time into my face. He has no business ethics, no manners, no respect for people. He is doing a horrible job. I didn't go to AMA for this one is cheaper, but i ended up with spending more money than AMA, because I had to hire a freelance driving instructor to make up for the practice I couldn't get properly from Randy's driving school. Be careful with what school you choose. Always work with professionals.

DO NOT go with randys driving school. It is absolutely horrible. He’s racist, treats you like shit if you dont know know to do parallel parking, he’s impatient and will yell at you and make you cry. He promised he would pick me up and drop me off where ever but ofcourse that didn’t happen either. He basically runs the business where he teaches you on his own. He has a zillion appointments and he won’t get you in for your next driving lesson for another week. In general,he’s an asshole so find another driving school that’s being ran by professionals!! No wonder why he doesn’t charge so much and he’s cheap,because the service is so shitty. That is all

YES YOU,RE ALL ABSOLUTELY RIGHT RANDY’S DRIVING SCHOOL IS THE WORST SCHOOL EVER.TERRIBLE ANSWERING PHONE CALLS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE CLASS.NOT THE RIGHT SCHOOL TO RECOMMEND BETTER GO TO MORE EXPENSIVE ONE THAN ENROLLING TO RANDY DRIVING SCHOOL.

Do NOT come to randys. Not professional what so ever, not worth saving a small amount of money. Agree with the comments below. I recommend not entrusting randy here to teach you.
