  If you are in need of driver training in the Winnipeg area, Safe Start Driving School is here to help you. We offer both Class 5 and Class 4 driver training in a variety of packages to suit your needs and have experience teaching all ages - from youth to seniors - including new Canadians from a variety of countries. Safe Start Driving School makes every effort to work around your schedule as much as possible.
• The Instructor

  Our owner and chief instructor is Bill Temple. Bill has over 30 years of experience as a trainer in both the military and the commercial transportation industry. He has instructed a variety of training programs including High School Driver Education, Adult Education Programs, and Commercial Truck Driver Training. He is a certified driver trainer in Classes 1, 3, 4 and 5.
• Packages

  • 5 Lessons: 7.5 hours $290
  • 8 Lessons: 12 hours $456
  • 10 Lessons: 15 hours $560 Each lesson is 1.5 hours long and does not include cost of road test.
  • One lesson and use of car for road test $125
  • Mature Driver Refresher Course: $120
  • Individual lessons $60 each

  Lesson times are available to suit YOUR schedule. Weekends, evenings or daytime lessons appointments are possible. Free pick up at your home anywhere in the city for each lesson. We offer assessments and brush-up lessons for drivers who are going for a road test or who just want to improve their driving. We can also coach seniors who have been called in for a road test with our Mature Driver Refresher Course. The course consists of two 1.5 hour in-car lessons where we will concentrate on your driving techniques and road safety. * Lessons are 1.5 hours and must be prepaid on first lesson.
