To be successful and productive, professional truck drivers need to know more than simply how to shift and steer. Unfortunately, while the demand for qualified drivers increases every year, the supply of qualified applicants seem to be on the decrease.
Since 1978, Tri-County Truck and Fork Lift Training has consistently provided Canadian companies with the finest drivers on the road. Our unique training and placement programs have helped firms such as Bruce Edmeades, Schneider National Carriers, Challenger Motor Freight, Gerth, Erb Transport, Grant, SGT, Advantage Staffing – and many others - on a regular basis.
The reason? We provide worry-free services employers appreciate. Before being accepted into our program, we pre-screen all applicants for driver’s licence verification, Ontario medical requirements, driver’s abstract, criminal record search and a work history. Once these criteria are met, students begin our intensive six-week training program with certified instructors, covering pre-trip inspection, skid control, computerized log book training, defensive driving... and more.
